Zaldron Posted August 4, 2001 Enhancer? as editor or as a software controlled wavetable? What soundcard, btw? 0 Share this post Link to post
Lüt Posted August 5, 2001 A lot of times if you just go into the sound properties, you'll find enhancements such as reverb, delay, etc. that you can place on MIDI. If you mean getting the MIDI to sound better or the instruments to sound more realistic, look into SoundFonts (this is basically WAV samples that are played to the tune instead of General MIDI sounds) or a later soundcard usually has much better General MIDI sounds. 0 Share this post Link to post
deadnail Posted August 5, 2001 Or you could drop $50 on a copy of WavMaker. It converts midi to wave with the help of a 650 meg sample set on CD... I wish I had the damn thing. 0 Share this post Link to post

Kaiser Posted August 5, 2001 Timidity patches can enhance your midi music. don't know exacly where it is, but go to google.com and look for it. good thing is that, it can be used with Prboom as well! 0 Share this post Link to post
pilottobombadier Posted August 5, 2001 I had downloaded timidity once (maybe 6 months ago), the final zipfile's corrupted, so timidity's something you might as well ignore, expecially cuz the damn thing is 14 megs. 0 Share this post Link to post
