Try these free sky textures for Vanilla Doom

Thanks, one of these might be perfect for a DM map I'm trying to finish

I'm really liking the monochrome mountainous ones. The second-to-last one looks like it should belong to a beautiful snowy map.

I'm interested for the last sky... Usually, I made my skies textures myself, but your skies are very cool :)

Cool stuff. I'd suggest making moon-less variants of skies 3 and 5 and then turning them into 1024-wide skies (vanilla supports these provided you make the sky out of four 256-wide patches, so you'd use one patch with the moon and three without). If you use them as-is it would look like the sky has four moons, heh.

did you make these from scratch or are these shopped photos?

While these sky images look quite nice, most of them are not really suited

for a replacement of the original sky. Images should tile properly and not

present noticeable features which repeat in the cardinal directions.

Damn, these all look great! I'm so intimidated by how to put these in my wad. 

I might adapt a couple of these to use in Heretic/Hexen if you're cool with that.

I like those green sky with stars.

Also gray skies feels kinda depressive, very fits to Doom levels.
