edit made a server come and play 149.56.242.162:10767 using zandronium 3.0

open up ide

go to start server tab

Doomseeker, which comes with Zandronum, makes it easy to set up a server, or a single-player game. it is pretty much equivalent to using (I)DE, but without the need to download the server browser in the first place because you already have it if you have Zandronum.

I guess a detailed tutorial could be useful, but it's not that hard. To start a server from your PC (likely to have massive lag issues), you'll have to forward ports - https://portforward.com/

The more effective way is to use an automated server host through Zandronum IRC chat. The two main ones are TSPG Painkiller and AusDoom.

What does ide mean?

Internet Doom Explorer. Though it was renamed a few years ago to just "Doom Explorer." It's a server browser.

There's a tutorial in this subforum explaining just about everything regarding IDE. Most of it also applies to other server browsers.

The link takes me to a site that is about portforwarding but dosnt tell me how

Dont host it from your own pc just use tspg, your just not allowed to have cheats on and dont host anything thats banned

also when youre in the IRC channel dont mention the word license...
