Flat texture glitching in game

Question

Hello, I've just created an account here to seek for a little help, I started using slade cause i wanted to try to make a wad, but I know nothing, right now it's all about learning how it Works and how to do stuff, so far I manage to add 1 monster, a few weapons and textures to a new wad, the monster and the weapons are working fine in game, however I've been having trouble to make the textures work, in the 3d editor mode the textures seems fine, they show up in the texture list and I can use them, but when I test them in game, the floor and ceilling looks weird, the wall texture seems to be working though, so what am I doing wrong?

I did put the textures between  FF_START and F_END and I added them in PNAMES and TEXTURE1, also I corverted them to a doom graphic.

Another thing I noticed, in the map editor, when I'm selecting a texture to put in the map, in "Browse map texture", the flats appears both in the "Flats" and "Textures", shouldn't it be only in the "Flats"?

3d Mode:

I think, you don't need put flats in TEXTUREx lump. They need be in FF_START and F_END markers without including them in that lump. Also what map format do you use here?

P.s remove flat textures from TEXTUREx/PNAMES lump and redo everything again, leave only PP_START and PP_END textures. FF_START and F_END textures don't have any patches,so I think that's why your stuff glitches way too hard.

I removed the flats from TEXTURE1, still glitchy in game, the map format is doom, I think? Where do I check the map format again?

Perhaps your flat is not 64x64 in size. This will cause problems in most ports.

It does says that the flat is 64x64 though

Also make sure your flats are of type "Graphic (Flat)" instead of "Graphic (Doom)"

That was it, they were (Doom), now they are working, Thank you and everyone for the help!
