Land ahoy!

I was just curious: what's the land like in the area where you live?
For example, I live in the Western NC region, which means there are mountains and hills everywhere. In fact, the place where I live is closed in by mountains. :)

Hills in Johnstown, PA. Wierd weather.

I live on a flat land with mountains viewable and about 1-2 hour car drive from them. Nice weather, nice people, nice place, I'm happy.

Flat, but not as flat as the Netherlands. The sky is mostly dull grey.

Cultivated, not a single bit of wilderness left.

Flat. Not anything like back home. Sometimes I miss the mountains.

Flat in most areas, somewhat high hills in some areas.

its flat, for the most part. it has some high hills. actually this part is called the miami valley. 1 cause a tribe of indians lived here called the miami. 2 this place is carved up by glaciers. there are alot of basins and river beds. oh and there is alot of wooded area between the cities.

oh in downtown dayton there is a porn shop that says "Home of the worlds largest dildo"

I think "undulating" sums it up. Nothing very high, nothing very steep, but few completely flat areas. Temperate climate; a fair amount of rain.

Belgium is a flat patch of grass half the size of Florida. The highest "mountain" we have here doesn't even qualify as a mountain, since it's only 2000 ft. or something.

Hills, hills and more hills. Quite a nice area too.

I live in Holland, but Holland is as flat as a coin too. We've got a bunch of trees, but mostly plains and paistures is all you see, except in the cities ofcourse.

I live in the moutons, so it's either too fucking hot or too fucking cold. There are trees here. Lots of trees, and I mean more trees then you would expect to see in a medium sized city. Hilly here to. (As you'd expect from a city built on a range.) Has some nice views though, lots of places where you could take your girlfriend, lie on the ground and say:
“00h teh stars r b00taful 2night.”
“Not as b00taful as j00!!!!”
Umm yeah. Now all I need is a girlfriend. :P

I live in the cumberland valley in PA. there's mountains on all sides, but they're far away. like living in a big bowl.

I live in Northern Massachusetts, and it's pretty hilly around here, lots of trees and stuff. The weather, like most of New England, is either sweltering hot in the summer or freezing cold everytime else. There is no in-between.

well lets see. I live in a semi-industrial ghetto neighborhood in brooklyn, ny. near me is a small web of elvated train tracks, a bus depot, a train yard, a massive group of cemetaries connected to a large park, an obsolete resevoir, and a few factories. I live on a side street between a minor street and a major four lane avenue (atlantic ave. in case you want to know). luckily the two central lanes are elevated because the Long Island RailRoad has a stop underneath there. that forms a wall seperating us from an even more industrialized, project laden neighborhood.

the cemetaries are fun. so is the park and resevoir. I can easily take the train or bus to other parts of brooklyn and also go to queens or manhattan, which are both very different than my brooklyn 'hood.

Well, it's partly hills and partly flat.

Right next to the ocean, some mountains not too far off.
