Things to do with PC while listening to music?

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for ideas for things to do with PC while listening to music. (mostly pop and rock.)

Things I tried that didn't work well for me: playing tetris and racing games, watching visuals and surfing the web.

I use music with everything, but mostly everytime I do homework, wich tends to be more then 3 hours... but yeah, try that If you are still in school or something like that of course.

umm, just listen to the music? lie down and close your eyes and take it in. dont get this obsession with only ever paying half-attention to what youre listening to.

One thing you could do is listening to songs, while watching their lyrics and finding meaning in them.

But that is probably not the advice you are looking for in this subject, so I would say reading something would help. From the lore or story of a game, to a nice sci-fi universe. It has to be something that you enjoy reading though. For an example, I may look at some Warhammer stuff while listening to metal, though my music takes the backseat in occasions like that.

Alternatively, you can play one of those openworlds with radio stations and all you have to do is make a station with your favourite songs playing.

This is especially important when the music isn't in your native language imo.

Back in the day when TF2 was good I used to listen to old jazz music while playing. Though on Convoy I listened to classic rock instead.

Cry on your desk while sad music plays. Yeah, I'm joking. I mostly do mapping or reading with music.

Music is distracting in this case anyways, doesn't need music.

I disagree, put on something reasonably sexy with a nice beat and it makes up for the awful porn noises.

I personally prefer just stop doing anything else while listening to music as i feel uncomfortable with not beign able to pay atention to it. Not always though, when i start programming or studying i put some background music to play though not all kinds of music do fit for that.

Most of the time i do listen to some music i'm either dozing off or walking.

Nothing like a little Stellaris committing interstellar genocide while listening to various 40K soundtracks
