Ichor Posted October 9, 2017 If you mean Taylor, he was the one who wrote it. 1 Share this post Link to post
Deleted_Account Posted October 9, 2017 Still a better love story than Flynn Taggart and Arlene Sanders. 3 Share this post Link to post
fraggle Posted October 9, 2017 It was written by an unknown weirdo named Taylor whom nobody had previously heard of or has heard from again since, and was definitely not █ █████-███ █████ ██████ ██ ███████ █████████ ███████ ██ ███ ████ █████████ ██ ████ ██ ██ █████████ ████. 11 Share this post Link to post
Comrade Pingu Posted October 9, 2017 I don't know. But what I do know is that Imp Encounter is easily one of the best wads in the universe. 0 Share this post Link to post

Scypek2 Posted October 10, 2017 Taylor also posted Vagina Dentata of Doom on the forums, which was an essay by Ashley Pomeroy reposted without credit (unless he IS Ashley Pomeroy). So now I'm not confident in his authorship of Imp Encounter either. I think that The Imp Encounter just came into existence on its own. Maybe it's a coded message from aliens. Telling us that unity is possible, but we need to change? Or something. 4 Share this post Link to post

Cipher Posted October 10, 2017 (edited) Much like The Plutonia Experiment, Hell Revealed, and other early wads that drastically rethought Doom's gameplay, we must credit "Imp Encounter" for spawning an entire genre of design whose lineage would include entries like "HDoom" and that picture someone posted recently of a map shaped like a woman receiving a flaccid penis. I think it may have been designed by a genius. 0 Share this post Link to post

Scypek2 Posted October 10, 2017 Did you know that, if dolphins laid eggs, they would be pyramid-shaped? Ashley Pomeroy is a goldmine of insight. 1 Share this post Link to post

Job Posted October 10, 2017 (edited) I'm still grappling with the shame of letting the community down. You're still owed a Revenant Encounter to follow this: 1 Share this post Link to post
