lupinx-Kassman Posted November 17, 2017 (edited) Personally I don't really consider his 3 or 4 posts a page about the map as a flood of messages. If you're proud of your work or just want feedback, no matter how small a change it is, I feel that's a good enough reason show it off 5 Share this post Link to post
Cell Posted November 17, 2017 I was bored. For realsies. The beastiary of Hell isn't even remotely comparable to the ferocity of rakes. ... Wait. I suddenly reimagined it. Gee, what a headache. 36 Share this post Link to post

Keep providing screenshots to emulate and I'll see if I can continue demaking it to doom! :D But for reals, don't get put off because one person asked you to not post screenshots so often and because I'm a dumbass who tries to crack a poor joke. Keep at it, please! 0 Share this post Link to post

ukiro Posted November 17, 2017 I stand by my comment. It was not meant to say that looking at a bunch of very similar screenshots is a chore, rather it was genuinely intended as a helpful tip: I get that you are proud/excited/happy about what you're creating and I have no motive or intention to take that away from you, but if you want others to share that excitement, a bit more progress between the shots is going to be in your interest. 0 Share this post Link to post

Fletcher` Posted November 18, 2017 Funny thing is that willost likely be scrapped. It was just a temp map for adding new textures and actors for that set. Then again I might keep it as I saw it in a dream. 2 Share this post Link to post

You didn't read my entire post, which said more than just posting redundant screenshot. I also said what I was thinking of adding, such as new ancient drawings, which would imply new stories. Tango Posted November 18, 2017 that looks so cool! I think the scale is way different than I immediately thought; those monster bodies look tiny haha 0 Share this post Link to post

I like all three but didn't want to quote them all, and that one was my favorite. I absolutely love that color palette, I like the sense of progressive scale without it looking too large or too detailed. It looks like a fun piece of architecture to explore. It could also be that I never actually played Hocus so whenever I see stuff with it it always looks super refreshing and new. 0 Share this post Link to post
Tristan Posted November 19, 2017 The Demise of CLX, the Former Human. Never before have I seen a zombieman hit a target from ~2048 map units. Unfortunately it was the wrong target; probably the most important monster in the whole map actually, and it retaliated but was unable to reach him. So not only was CLX a pain in the ass to kill when you got to him (either switch to pistol or try and reach with fist), he also had a very slim chance of ruining the map. Bye. 17 Share this post Link to post

cannonball Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Doing the red key area for the recreation of a map from 2012. The blue key area is done, so it is almost time to populate the map and get the major mechanics working. 19 Share this post Link to post
TwinBeast Posted November 19, 2017 I finally continue CyberShade. Started off with changing the palette. It's nearly done, just wondering if I keep white or change it for another shade for violet, grey or red. White is only used in lamps, explosions and special effects to make them flashier. If removed, the yellow and bright blue are the brightest colors. Been thinking about making it possible to have partially transparent textures... and before actually programming that feature... Suddenly I notice the waterfalls are partially transparent (from certain angles)... Some bug related to the sky rendering. 19 Share this post Link to post
