LoadedCannible Posted December 7, 2017 (edited) BIG UPDATE: Changelog: *Map completely remade *New teleports (for escapes!) *Labelled doors requiring a keycard with the designated color *Al doors previously impossible to open (without noclip) are now openable *Enemies are better paced *Map is WAY more organized *Texture glitches replaced (with working textures) *Map has been completely tested more than once, for the benefit of all players! Id like to thank those who took time out of their day to play my previous (very faulty!) beta map, that really helped me fix this map. I took into all criticism (lightly) and replaced the map with most if not all problems perceived in the comments. Here is the link to the new update to the map: https://www.mediafire.com/file/geiaaoprped35m9/Labratory Fallout.zip Edited December 7, 2017 by LoadedCannible 1 Share this post Link to post
EffinghamHuffnagel Posted December 7, 2017 The file inside the zip has the same date, 12/3/17, and the same size as the previous release version. 1 Share this post Link to post
LoadedCannible Posted December 7, 2017 Well yes, I updated it in the same day 12/6/17 0 Share this post Link to post
HAK3180 Posted December 7, 2017 I'm confident this is the same map I played the other day. Nothing is fixed. If you made changes, you have the wrong link. I also thought I'd comment that you probably should not have created a new topic for a number of reasons: 1) The original topic was just one or two days old 2) The changes are not significant (if you had one broken map a year ago and now you have 6 maps, only one of which sort of resembles the original, then maybe make a new thread) 3) When people "follow" a topic, they can be notified of new content in said topic. They will not be notified if you create a new topic unless they follow you personally as a user. 4) You can change the name of a topic you created, so you can put in something like "UPDATE" (or completely rename it). 5) You can also make a new post in the old topic. Then it will get bumped back to the top of the recent topics list (with the new title, if applicable). 6) You can also edit the original post in the old topic to include the most recent links and information. Lastly, spelling is not the most important thing ever in playing Doom, but did you intend to misspell "laboratory" as some sort of portmanteau with a dog breed/area of Canada? 0 Share this post Link to post
LoadedCannible Posted December 7, 2017 I'm sure you played this and the first version, but to say it wasn't fixed, is incorrect. Not to come out ignorant or anything, but if you played this version of the map, you'd recognize the changes. Nothing, of course, against you, but It is playable. And I understand it might have been better to build on the first thread, but it is what it is. And I did actually misspell Labratory on accident. Didn't notice it that till you pointed it out. 0 Share this post Link to post

I too played the first upload and find this to be identical. The room with the blue key and the icon of sin is a trap with one way out, kill the icon of sin with bfg which ends map so no need for for blue key or anything else. 0 Share this post Link to post
