snapshot Posted February 3, 2018 Is it possible to place a floating switch that can be triggered only if shot by a projectile or a hitscan ? I tried placing a 2 sided linedef with a solid mid-texture and giving the linedef the property "on projectile impact" but still shooting below the switch triggers it anyways, I also tried using the switch height check flag and the issue remained, what are these properties for anyways ? is it not possible to make floating switches ? 0 Share this post Link to post
snapshot Posted February 3, 2018 (edited) EDIT : Apparently switch height check works only with "when player presses use", it doesn't detect hitscans or projectiles, RIP E6M6 secret exit. Edited February 3, 2018 by dmg_64 0 Share this post Link to post
Gez Posted February 3, 2018 You could place an invisible shootable actor just behind your switch midtexture. Have the actor trigger the effect when shot. Not ideal but it's a workaround. 2 Share this post Link to post
