Is freedoom guy supposed to look like Karl Urban?

I mean, look:

i always thought freedoom guy was just kinda supposed to be nondesript dude with stubble. besides, freedoom was around before the doom movie.

It's worth remembering that it's an iterative project: when Freedoom "started" it was little more than an idea and a small handful of textures people contributed.
