The bitching about game difficulty

Came to this topic by accident, actually was looking for an answer is there a possibility to save your game at any moment instead of minor checkpoints.. From all no weapons challenge games Ive been doing, Doom is most difficult one, and challenging hordes of monsters aside, lack of save games is the most painful issue for me..  Still, I am not giving up yet :D

But, to the topic itself, I haven't played the entire game yet, but for skilled players I think nightmare is enough challenging.. I even started to deeply regret that I took on my no weapons challenge :D

You can save at any point by going to the options menu.

if people are bitching about the difficulty, you're probably doing it right. provided you can beat it yourself.

edit: I now see that I'm in Doom 2016 thread. :/

Should I get this game? I've been thinking about it.

Wait... you're not playing the game properly, so the difficulty may be not fair, so nothing to talk about I guess.

I have always preferred a Learning curve type of Difficulty

it seems that Mario games are the only ones that got this right.

I've yet to play a game with a smoother difficulty curve than Cave Story.

Rayman legends has that type of difficulty, its one of the best platformers in a long time also.

Normal difficulty in games is not meant for gamers who never played ____ before, it's meant to be normal.

I need Doom to be easy, it's my stress relief. Harder modes are for hardcore gamers.

I just play on hurt me plenty.
