GBA portz

Recommended Posts

If you could see any game ported to the GBA, what would you want? I'm talking any game, computer or console, that the GBA's hardware could handle.

I think it'd be cool to see the "Alone In The Dark" trilogy all on one GBA cart. I know the GBA can handle low-detail models on static backdrops (look at THPS GBA), but I'm not sure how many polys it can handle.

Battlezone (the arcade game from 1980). The hardware could easily handle it (obviously), and it surely would be quite simple to port what was originally about 18K of code.

Zelda: a Link to the past. Exellent game!

That's already coming. should be out in early December.

I'd like to see ALLL the Zeldas that the system can handle, in one cart. A kind of collection. Zelda, Zelda II, A Link To the past, and the 3 GBC Zeldas in one mass Zelda Collection.

I'd also like to see the following.

Super Castlevania IV
Castlevania - Dracula X
Super Mario RPG
Final Fantasy III
Super Metroid
Killer Instinct
Mortal Kombat II (one that's Good)
Super Mario 3 (they SKIPPED this game in porting marios to handhelds!!
They Went - Super Mario Bros. Super Mario 2. super Mario World. Super Mario world 2. WTF?! GAHH!!! SMB3 NEEDS TO BE HERE!!)
Mega Man X games. Any and ALL of them, ESPECIALLY Mega Man X, and Mega Man X3.

There's also, literally tons of NES Games I'd like to see here, but there's too many for me to think of posting right now.

Really that's interesting. I doubt I will ever buy it though because I have it on SNES. But how did I forget Castlevania IV, that's my favourite SNES game of all time! And I would like to have Chrono Trigger on GBA, and I agree about Super Marios: I cannot understand how they didn't publish SMB3.

That's what I thought about things Like Doom, Doom II and Super Mario Bros. 1, but here I got them all!! There's something of an appeal to be able to play any of those games whenever, wherever, which is what makes me buy them again for Portable systems.

Uh they ported The Lost Levels as well, remember :P

And i'll doubt they'd release some sort of Zelda collection with Link's Awakening, And The Oracles enhanced...since they are already on GBC...

Hrm, nice idea though.

Here we go.

aaagh! why did I never hear of this? oh well, time for ebay. I still think an enhanced version of crystalis on the gba would be good. the sprites are good the way they are, I would just increase the color depth.

All of the original NES Megaman games.

All of the Ninja Gaiden games.

Preferably together on the same cart.

Doom :P

Edit: Why did I do that?

Seriously, I wanna see Quake for GBA. That is if it can handle it.

Quake on GBA would be a terrible job. Well, the models would look way butchered in detail, and the FPS would most likely be bad.

Meh.
