Smooth slopes?

Question

I'm sure this question's been asked a lot before but is there a way to make slopes smooth? Or are they simply there for looks rather than functionality?

Define 'smooth', do you mean making something like a roman arch? Or do you want to make something like a pipe set at an angle or something?
 

In the case of the former, you can quite easily make a smooth arch/slope by adding segments in your slope and changing the height to create a smooth surface. In the case of making a pipe, you'd probably be better off using a 3d model.

If you're using Plane_Align (or any of the slope things), then your movement about the slope should be rather smooth. If you have a slope that, for one reason or another, has segmented parts that aren't of a different slope (like 64 units forward, 32 up, and they don't deviate), then that can cause jittery movement.

Never fucking mind, gzdb decided to crash out of nowhere and my progress is most likely gonna disappear. Will keep you updated I guess.

 

EDIT: Yeah, this is honestly just a huge non-beneficial hassle so nevermind.
