About within a month, the 9th anniversary of Doom

In about a month away, December 10th, Doom's ninth anniversary will arrive. Has anyone come up any ideas how to celebrate it? I really hope we won't only have a birthday cake picture posting in "Top Story" like we had last year. Back from 2 years ago, the idea of floating soul spheres all over the screen wasn't that bad but in fact it was very creative, but I'd like to see something new this year.

Day long doom-a-thon under jdoom, arguably the most technically advanced source port available (for old style doom maps). just to enjoy how far we've come.

Re-install Doom 1 and play it from start to finish.

actually, i'm thinking about hosting a server with some sort of dm tourniment. As cool as it sounds, i have no clue hpw to begin, or use a computer for that matter, or put my shoues on the right feet for that matter. I'm throughly retarded.

still, a dm tourniment game would be pretty cool, seeing how i live in the middle of fucking nowhere.

Well, I never play it, but it's on my HD. So it's as good as uninstalled, but it isn't.

I'll send up my 1st Compet-n demo a few days before, so that it shows up in the update that day. Don't know what else yet. Maybe finish up my site and upload it, for instance.

I'll celebrate by playing Doom...yes, it's lame, but oh well.
