15 years before Slipknot sampled that audio quote -- either from the trailer for some obscure American film, or a satire of such a trailer -- into their song Nomadic, the Amiga demoscene group Ephidrena had already used it in one of their best productions, Concrete. I'm still trying to learn which film this came from, but thanks to Slipknot, searching on this topic is extremely difficult. One thing I learned is that the hardcore techno group Cixx Vs The Vinyl Junk had sampled this even earlier, in 1997, for their song The Tough Guys.

Concrete won 1st Place at The Party in 1999. This is a fixed version released in 2000. It's length is not actually 8:42. The demo basically ends at 4:43 when the music stops, but keeps going in a silent extended credits section.

Pretty good, but I don't know, something feels off when it gets more epic, that notes are too high from my POV.

That's because it is very different. It's essentially a 'remix'.
