I am highly annoyed at SLADE 3 right now. (jk)

Apparently SLADE doesn't understand how line portals work, so whenever I want to add one I need to save my work, close SLADE, boot up GZDoom Builder and put the line portal in there instead.

And I don't like GZDoom Builder.

What exactly do you mean by "understand how line portals work"? And what changes would you suggest are needed?

There's no option to create a line portal using SLADE's map editor, and when you select one made otherwise it comes up with this:

Then I can only suggest that you check whether you 1) have a recent version instead of something outdated and 2) are using the ZDoom port configuration.

Ah, odd. In that case the update including the portal changes must have been this year, as I got SLADE about the same time I joined Doomworld. And yes, everything is configured to ZDoom.

Very odd. I have version 3.1.1.5 (I checked), configured to ZDoom, and it doesn't have it.
