But... Haven't we already know the origin of Doom guy already? The soldier who almost killed his officer because he was ordered to kill a civilian, punished and sent to mars.... All is history and that's the origin story of Doom Guy.

Yeah, maybe, but i would prefer that to those cheesy as hell (pun intended) narrations, i did not found them badass at all, they were trying too hard.

Yeah, maybe we will get a reference to that, maybe D16 happens after Doom, Doom 2, Doom 3 and Doom 64 and they all turn out to happen in the same universe, who knows, what it would be really cool is a reference to his Wolfenstein dad and Commander Keen Grandad, but it has to be subtle.

I also remember them confirming thats not the Crucible, but this screenshot has the alt-text" Archville vs. Crucible" in the Slayers Club. Of course this still could mean it's just "a" Crucible and not "the" Crucible, on the other side, the Slayer Clubs team must know that every visitor who reads that text would immediatly link it to "the" Crucible.
