Touchdown Posted August 18, 2018 There are a bunch of scattered threads about individual details and things that people have noticed in the gameplay reveal. This is a thread for all those little things that you might want to point out for everyone else. Here's a few things from me. 1. When the Doomguy puts his helmet on we get a brief flash of this interesting sigil. 2. Inverted five-pointed stars and hexagons (symbols used to perform magic) + a stream of text written in some strange language. In DOOM4 when you put the helmet on there's a brief glimpse of some different language that gets translated into English but this one seems different. Perhaps whoever upgraded the Doomguys armor is not really a good guy. 3. As seen in DOOM4, certain enemies naturally fight each other, despite being hostile towards the Doomguy. Here we can see the new Possessed Soldiers fighting the cybernetically enhanced civilians. 4. Cars floating around the giant hellish tumor (you can see it better in the video). 5. Let's take a moment to appreciate this cool destroyed bridge with dozens of cars on it. 6. There are those weird floating skull contraptions that spill lava everywhere. 7. Man of Doom Posted August 18, 2018 Something that may be relevant to the disintegrating corpses- whenever a demon suddenly loses a limb or body part, the bloody stump/gib/wound now appears to flash orange-red but only for a split-second. It's the exact same color as the burning ashes whenever a body disappears. It appears that crushing ceilings are returning in some capacity. It’s basically a medikit in the center of the “mall” area that’s being pounded by a pillar of teeth. After the player picks up the extra life, there’s an additional area that seems to open up. Perhaps finding secrets can help discover more secrets? This computer screen reads “SUBMIT TO THEM.” In addition to the friendly AI voice that we hear, perhaps this situation on Earth will be similar to They Live? Anything that’s not pictured: -When the Crucible is pulled out against the Arch-Vile, there can be a voice heard whispering something like “help us slay.” Will edit this post when I discover more things hidden in the gameplay. 1 Share this post Link to post

blackgoblinmagic Posted August 18, 2018 (edited) Just want to broth to ur attention that the architecture from Samuels office script building in the background is very similar as the architecture in the Sentinel prime. That spiky thing. Wich i belive the script is abaut pre hell Argent d nur...or that war with mortaly challenged already happened in this grandiose city. If u look in the buildings they are heavy damaged with big hols in the walls, also bridges are broken...sam as in Argent breach.This city is abandoned imo. Also some serious...Tesla feel to it. Ramiel Posted August 19, 2018 If You look in the background of that Sentinel Prime picture, you'll see what I'm 99% sure is Mars. Maybe he'll have the ability to "heal" those glowing wounds? Otherwise, it just seems weird to have glowing wounds for no reason. 1 Share this post Link to post

He seems to be pretty familiar with all those occult "superpowers", even in Doom 2016.
