More Questions arise...

Hello-Allo...

I have a few questions here...

Firstly, How exactly do I watch demos in Zdoom?

Secondly, How do I get those neato 3D models in Jdoom?

Thirdly, How do you like have bots in a game? Eg: I want to play Greenhouse.wad on single player, but with bots in it (dueling btw :P).

Can someone(s) be so polite to help me on either one of these three or all?

question 1) dont know.

question 2) download the md2 models from http://www.doomsdayhq.com

question 3) zcajun is what I have for zdoom. you can either type addbot in the console or bind a key to that command. I use the insert key as in "insert bot".

(but people usually use 1.22, as 1.23b33 doesn't like demos for some reason)

For bots, try search for ACbots, (btw it is legacy bots)
they are good... :)

yes, darn 1.23b33 wont run any demos :~(

It's a beta. Randy Heit will most likely not take care of demo synch problems till everything else is in place.

I just use SkullTag for deathmatches, the bots are great! imo :D

Yeah, but he asked for singleplayer bots. And the best SP bot I have tried is ACbots... :)

yes, but he wants them for Deathmatching. He ment single player by Just Him as the only human player, against a bunch of bots. :P

Yeah, but ZDoom just play demos recorded in ZDoom itself.

You do that too with these bots... they have a good aim :P

Teh Skulltag ones are a challange on the hardest difficulty sometimes, especially Orion, dang, hes always in second. Im in first, obviously ^_^

Skulltag bots are cool, but They are not working in the new version... :/

I hope they get even better AI... :)

I really like how the AI is done on SkullTag. It seems that each bot has different characteristics on how they deathmatch and how difficult they are Eg: The Zombieman seems to be less skillfull compared to Orion or Linguica, Orion seems to always be the best bot, that or I need to lay off the Koolaid snorting.

Have you got the new version?

Noppers, I kept the Special Hissy edition, I like it, a lot. :D
