Release date reveal on Doom's 25th birthday?

Highly unlikely unfortunately.  If they were releasing that close to Christmas they would have had to informed retailers months ago to ensure shelf-space, in-store promotional materials, etc. etc.  While it's not impossible, I don't think the benefits of releasing on a historical date would outweigh the issues of springing it on the market like that.

I suspect we're looking at the latter half of 2019.

Sorry, I meant they give us the release date on December 10th, not actually release it. Fixed it.

It has been a long drought for new information.  Maybe we get something but I doubt even Id knows when the game will be complete.  My guess is October 2019.

Maybe a trailer but I highly doubt that we'll get a release date. It probably won't be until next year's E3 at the earliest because they probably want time for RAGE 2 to shine for one thing.
