Hellbent Posted March 16, 2019 Whenever I type in youtube in my Chrome browser it autofills to this page and it's getting really annoying: How do I make it instead autofill to this page? Any help on this small but annoying problem is greatly appreciated. 0 Share this post Link to post
Dark Pulse Posted March 16, 2019 Probably clear your browser settings/cache/visited websites/whatever. 0 Share this post Link to post
esselfortium Posted March 16, 2019 With that autocomplete entry selected in the list, press shift+del. This should remove it from your autocomplete suggestions. 1 Share this post Link to post
Korozive Posted March 16, 2019 Why don't you just bookmark YouTube in your browser and no more typing. Just click. You know, favorites.. 0 Share this post Link to post
kmc Posted March 17, 2019 This is probably browser specific, but I have a youtube.com bookmark and I just type F6 (jump to address bar) 'y' then enter to go to youtube. If you don't want to clear your cache, you could type y and use the arrow keys to select youtube.com a few times until it becomes your most visited. 0 Share this post Link to post
Hellbent Posted March 17, 2019 Thank you Essel! Essel's suggestion worked wonders (and super easy!) Now to figure out how to get 'y' to autofill with the orca video (and not just www.youtube.com). :D 0 Share this post Link to post

It took me a week to install ad block considering I had no internet at that point. 0 Share this post Link to post
Scypek2 Posted March 25, 2019 maybe instead of "youtube" you could type some string of letters that's more unique to your desired video? You may need an extra keypress then to select the right suggestion, but it may show up more reliably. At least that's my assumption, since I don't use chrome but I think it may be similar enough to firefox in that regard. I've been doing that a lot before to quickly get to doomworld threads, just by typing something like "2018" or "booth". 0 Share this post Link to post
