game crash when scrolling to plasma gun (error included)

hello all, hoping someone has seen this before...whenever i scroll to the plasma gun, my game crashes to the console with the following error attached.  i'm using the latest GZDoom (4.0), but it did the same with the previous release.  whats weird is that it will work sometimes, but i cant figure out what triggers it to happen.  Thanks!

My only suggestion is to delete your .ini and load the game to create a fresh .ini. That tends to be a fix that usually works.

I never got a chance to try this, but please excuse the dumb question on my part...where do i find the .ini file?

It should be in the same folder as gzdoom.exe. If you don't see it and you're running Windows, you might have things set so that system files (such as *.ini) don't display.
