How to enable longtics?

I mainly use Prboom+, Crispy Doom, and Competition Doom. How do you enable longtics in those source ports?

In PrBoom+/GlBoom+ you can simply add -longtics in the Target box of the shortcut when you're recording a demo (you don't need it during regular play).

Keep in mind, however, that it doesn't work for all -complevels. That's how I'm setting up my ports anyway, you could use a different method I suppose. Dunno for sure about Crispy and Competition but I think you can do the same.

Right, -longtics works for the various vanilla and limit-removing formats but not for Boom(-cl9) or MBF(-cl11) demos.

And there is PrBoom+ build made by me that allows you to use -longtics in Boom -cl9 mode:

Unfortunately, I don't believe its demos are compatible with the default PRBoom+.

Of course not, because it's unofficial. But complevel 2 longtics demos also don't play back with original doom2.exe, they require a special version of doom2 to play them properly.  So it would be good if official prboom+ also supported boom longtics demos, but unfortunately Andrey doesn't maintain it any longer.

I wrote him about merging my build with official PrBoom+ 1.5 years ago, and he responded this (in Russian):

лень со всем этим мне возиться. что-то куда-то включать итд. за последние 6 лет наверное коммитов 10 сделал. и то больше для того, чтобы наконец зарелизить 2514 и "перейти" в "домашнем" билде на сдл2, бо уже не помню что меня сильно парило, акселерация мыши что ли в вин10 и пляски с реестром, чтобы её убрать. я не уверен что следующий релиз будет в ближайшие годы, так что как-нибудь без меня форкайте/релизьте. вроде же GrafZahl форкал уже для чего-то там.
