Some stupid tc, like rugrats doom or some other 90s show

levels are all collocated in alphabetical order over the original order: instead of entryway, we'll have barrels of fun, then bloodfalls, circle of death and so on...

Doom the fighting game would be dope

Replace shooting by wrestling.

Add playtime counter which turns game off after 30min of playing.

Add voice guide: telling you what and how to do in game, commenting all your actions and consequences.

Tower of Babel but you have to climb it instead being teleported to the top.

And the closer you get to the top, the more garbled and incomprehensible everything is, until it all goes to lilith and worse when you reach the top.

Actually a single episode wad based on and named after the Tower of Babel would be interesting.

Barbarella Doom (based off the movie of the same name).

Linguica Doom - A doom mod where you go through the daily life of Linguica.

How about a Doom mod or a megawad where the levels are all based off of many various albums and songs or different artists and bands. I could think of a bunch of names for levels:

-Highway Star 

-Life On Mars 

-Boogie Wonderland

-Doomguy Goes To Hollywood

-Jailhouse Rock

-Hellish Mercury 

-Paisley Park (with Purple Rain being the weather of the level)

-All Along The Watchtower

-The Court Of The Crimson King

I know this isn't a stupid mod idea but I could see this being a good idea for a community mapping project.

Well, I know what my next Doom project is gonna be.

That reminds me of an idea I had to make a 6 map Boom WAD based on Slint's Spiderland, complete with MIDI renditions of the songs. If my mapping skills ever improve I'd certainly like to get around to that.

There already exists a wad full of midi versions of Beatles songs, so why not maps inspired by those songs using those midis?
