CnDoom start up issues

Does anyone encounter this issue where whenever you start Competition Doom version 2.0.2.1, 2.0.3.1, and 2.0.3.2 the game switches the desktop resolution to whatever resolution the game is in. Then the game will get stuck on a black screen fro about 5 seconds?

Perhaps, this is the setting you are looking for.

cndoom v2 is based on chocolate doom v2 and has issues with video on some systems, you should try "Windows GDI" option under video -> advanced options.
