ZDOOM Linux

Ok, I am trying to load up ZDOOM under Mandrake Linux on my XBOX, but when I load it up, it locks up Linux, and I can not escape to another user to kill the program or nothing!!!

So I messed around a bit, because it was locking up after the I_InistSound: sound module ready

message, and discovered that ZDOOM will run if I use the -nosound or -nosfx command on start up, but it will lock up if I only disable Music.

Has anyone had this problem in Linux on there PC's due to there sound card?

By the way, DOOM Legacy loads up fine on the XBOX, sound and all.

What ZDoom version? (And don't say latest, but an exact version number).

and yes, with a modded XBOX you can run Linux, do a search for Linux on sourceforge.net, thank god it ain't windows! :)

The Xbox is a computer in a box. Microsoft added some protection but it can be cracked and used like a normal computer.

Personally, I'll wait for the GBA player and nab it and DOOM ][ GBA if I ever wanted to play it on a console. Which I don't.
