What's your favourite demon in Doom?

Mine is the Cacodemon It's fun to fight him, he has unique animations, and is one of the 3 demons that can fly.

for me...
It would have to be the archvile.
Yes, one of those fans.
Provides a nice challenge, both in strategy and how to kill them.
Secoond has to be the revanant.
Mr. Doot, if you will.

I rather accept an ad to donate to Hissy's recovery from Lost Souls than this recent trend of very samey questions over and over.

Head Of Romero

The one outside the start room on E1M3. I almost can't bring myself to shoot it.

For me it would be the Baron of Hell, he is imposing as hell!

Honestly, Revenant.

It's challenging without being "holyshitfuckoff" levels of annoying like the Archvile.

Plus I find it's design very neat. 

Second place for me would be Cacodemon.

Probably -fast Demons and Spectres. Some of the most fun moments I have in Doom these days include them.

Vanilla invisibility -fast Spectres in dark areas (preferably with many nooks, crannies and ways to flank you) suddenly transforms Doom into a horror game :P

Barons & Knights (sounds like a lawyers😂) so satisfying to kill, and I love the 64 versions...

Pain Elemental and lost souls. They always give me "oh,shit" reaction, especially at open spaces. So much pain for such cute looking monsters. 

Easily the Hell Knight. I find him to be the perfect mid-tier enemy - not as challenging and annoying as the Revenant or Archvile but still threatening enough to encourage being cautious, especially around multiple of them. And his design is cool.

The Hell Knight is probably one of the most common enemies I use in my own maps, now that I think about it.

In design wise: the Spider Mastermind, Cool looking demon, love her design

Gameplay wise: dunno, probably the Chaingunner, I keep changing my opinions over the time

Sometimes you get a Hell Knight, sometimes you get Guaripolo, the favorite character of the kids of 31 minutes.

2016: Hell Knight.

Eternal: Arachnotron.

Pain Elementals

Revenant. Their speed and sometimes homing missiles make them a fun enemy to fight. Also killing a group of them with a rocket launcher is so cool.

Second close comes the Cacodemon.
