Speedmapping opinions wanted!

Just thought I'd everyone's opinions on past speedmaps. This includes both Doomworlds' sessions and mine.

1) Best speedmapping pack so far?

2) Worst speedmapping pack so far?

3) Best single speedmapped level so far?

4) Worst single speedmapped level so far? (don't worry, I'm sure people won't get upset ;) )

5) Best ever speedmapping theme?

6) Worst ever speedmapping theme?

1) DWSPD003

2) NTSPD006

3) NTSPD008 map01 (with only a little bit more work, it could have been a 'proper' level).

4) DWSPD006 map07

5) NTSPD008 (episode 4 style, all joint together into one level)

6) DWSPD007 (don't use a grid)

1) hard to say. the Metabolist/Fredrik/Swedish Fish/Rimmer/Ebola/Nightmare ones. :)
2)harder to say; I've only played 20 of them or so. 20 maybe. 11 since that doesn't exist.
3) Fredrik's map01 of 16; but there are a lot of runner ups -- check out dw8 map01 by Ebola for example.
4) I had a few maps in there. I recall Karthik wasn't up to the speed challenge his first time around. Editing takes time, quality takes a lot of time.
5) I'm amazed Nick pulled off ntspd008. Still think they should try to make an episode -- where each editor makes a specific map in the episode... maybe in 150 minutes or something.
6) don't use a grid... and the DandD map was awkward under a time constraint, IMHO.

You're all forgetting ntspd001 map04 dammit :P

I dunno, the pack itself was okay, it was just the theme that was the problem :) Maps 01, 04, 06, 13, 14 and 16 were all pretty good IMO.

That's the Abandoned Mines one. I would send it myself, but Wintex isn't feeling like co-operating right now :|

Dunno, but all of those with up against 10 levels are better than those with few.

Worst speedmapping pack so far?

That one with only one map :P

Best single speedmapped level so far?

Of course one of mine, but I don't know which.

Worst single speedmapped level so far? (don't worry, I'm sure people won't get upset ;) )

There are a couple of empty room-kind-levels, but I'm not going to look through the packs to find the absolutely worst one :P

Best ever speedmapping theme?

"Build a base in space" or "Tech Base".

Warehouse in a castle? Mansion? Heh.

If you mean the speedmapping packs, they're all available from the two pages linked to in the first post (and yes, NTSPD001 to 005 are now available too!), except NTSPD006, which isn't really that great anyway.

IIRC, I tried one of the speedpacks from dw, the one, where you was't able to use the "grid".
