Yeah you should, for curiosity i have played it, and it looks unfinished, mostly because i had the keys and no place to go. Still, it reminds a nice start of something. In my opinion you should work on it and do something out of it.  

Always keep your unfinished projects somewhere, they may get use later when you are more experienced.

I would rather wait until this wad is finished before doing a play through of it.

Yes, I think you should keep the wad and continue to work on and improve it. From what I've seen of it, it's good so far and I like your attention to detail.
