What weapon effects would you like to see in Doom that CAN be done with EDGE

I'm working on a weapon modification that'll hopefully be a prototype for better things to come, and I was wondering what new stuff you might like to see. These are general ideas, by the way.

Cluster Bombs. Or maybe a shotgun that uses slugs not buckshot but the secondary fire would be load up a buckshot shell. That would rule!
