It will be E5M7 of Next Doom Odyssey with the beautiful music track Adirgio by Jimmy. Note: the exit texture may be possibly changed at a later date. I've made a room shaped after COVID-19 on the top and that other area on the right is based on a bacteriophage t4. Simplified, of course. nervewar Posted March 30, 2020 (edited) Like everyone else I've had a lot more time on my hands, so I've finally dove back into making the second level of my Doom NW project! For this occasion I decided to do a challenge and that is to create a large map without using new textures (only from doom 2) This time I modernize using the UDMF. I want it to be pleasing to the eye and smooth playing. Rymante Posted April 3, 2020 Hi there! I just started learning how to make classic Doom maps back in February this year whilst waiting for Doom Eternal to come out. Since then I've become slightly obsessed with the mapping process & felt compelled to share my work on a small, vanilla-themed mapset I'm working on. Mad Dal 85 Posted April 4, 2020 (edited) Map 01 of my megawad/mod I am creating took me good 3 weeks to do (mid Nov-early Dec last year) plus I've spent the last few days editing and play testing it by making it a bit bigger, better, and put more monsters and ambushes in it. I'm hoping to aim this wad/mod at the more experienced Doom players. It starts off moderate in difficulty, then after the first text screen, it literally bombards the player. But I can't think like that otherwise I'll end up giving my project up. Got to think positive about my work. Someone did say to me that first map looks awesome. I only got into mapping a few short years ago and still don't know how everything works in the editor, but I know enough to be getting on with for the time being.
