As you can see, the lighting effect is coming on (don't worry, it's not that spread out or that bright in gameplay) and as you can also see I've changed the interior walls to a tech green so it's not the same as the exterior walls and gives the map a bit more colour too. 7 Share this post Link to post

Negatronica Posted April 20, 2020 I've started working on a cavern-like level for htc3. I made a multi sprite flame effect which looks cool in game. The same technique was used on the blue orbs (clown soul ammo) pictured. This map is about 1/2 complete. 27 Share this post Link to post

Agentbromsnor Posted April 21, 2020 Back in the early 2000s I used to play a lot of Counter-Strike (the first one), and my favourite map to play on was a so-called "fun map" called fy_pool_day. It's a pretty basic but really fun small level centered around a pool theme. While searching around online, I found a program that can extract textures from BSP files, so I can finally make a fy_pool_day remake in GZDoom. :D This is just quick test map I threw together in less than 10 minutes though, since my main priority is finishing Parallel Doomensions. 8 Share this post Link to post

phoo Posted April 23, 2020 (edited) Still largely a work in progress. Here's some recent work I've done on two rooms in my first wad project (boom format): The kitchen area of a home (yes, the toaster works) The living room/den I intend to make an animated texture for the tv, just not sure what yet. I was going to make some chairs, but I felt it made traversing the room a little awkward.
