Nightmare Difficulty

Hi guys 

Is there any possibility to edit Nightmare difficulty in terms of respawn? 

Im making a wad that needs to have have more agressive enemies but respawning enemies won't go with a story. 

Do you know any solution to this problem?

ZDoom centric formats with custom difficulties might just be the way to go.
