I have to give a nod to Doom: Eternal Slayer just for the technical accomplishments alone. That, and it looks like the most original gameplay mod in YEARS.

I'm gonna go with +++25 Years on Earth too. Great WAD.

Definitely gonna have to nominate Akedama. What a great return to form in terms of that classic megawad feeling, similar to Memento Mori 2 and Requiem.

+++25 Years on Earth (I especially appreciated the shorter maps and more relaxed difficulty; too many megawads feel like overlong slogs. The 'use every linedef action at least once' thing gives you a few unique situations to work through too, so it never feels samey, which can be an issue with single-author megawads. Great shit, give cacoward pls)

I've been playing Final Neodoom v1.5, it's got some neat features in it, some carried over from the original Neodoom and there's some new things I don't think I've seen elsewhere.
