Uni Posted June 14, 2020 (edited) Just a small thing I'm working on. My goal is to make smallish, good-looking and challenging levels using minimal textures. Basically my restrictions are : 1 Main texture that carries the theme and the workhorse of the design. 1 Flat and 1 ceiling textures. 1 Liquid texture (can be a different hazard such as the crackle floor). 1 switch texture. 1 Door texture. Can be any texture I wish to use. Utility textures such as teleporters, doortracks, midbars and exit-related textures are allowed. Sky texture. Stock textures only. Extra care to architecture, good usage of light levels and careful picks of liquid and sky colors are essential to compensate for the lack of texture variations.
