BFG Factory, a MAP 12 replacement. The only weapons available other than the pistol are the BFG and the Berserk Fist.

 

I'm only barely started the map, so this is a very early shot.

At this rate I'll end up recoloring an entire pack of textures black before I even get to finish the map's layout...

Hah - After my Island Fortress (which took WAAAAY longer than I though it would), it's time to return to my Hellbreach project. Currently working on MAP18. It's a sort of single map 'hub' thing, with some experimental scripting stuff. You start in a sort of floating arena thing, here:

There are going to be 12 mini maps attached to each teleport and there is a map-start script that randomises the actual target of each teleport, so each play will give a different target mapping for the pyramids. Each mini-map has a switch and some monsters. Here are some of the finished bits:

Each switch triggers the teleport platform to close:

And the exit lock is partially opened:

When they are all activated, all locks are opened, and (when I actually make it...) the exit will become available:

Okay so I work as a bit of an assistant on my brother @Triangle Box Studio's wad. He's been working on it for about a year now and plans to release a demo very soon. I've assisted with a little bit of voice work and will do some of the "writing" aspect (for the wad's storyline + those word screens when you complete a map). I asked if I could do a quick recording as a teaser of sorts to show some of the voice work I did for a computer. The only editing I did to my recordings was doubling it up, making the duplicate slightly off time to achieve that robotic sound (so no pitching or pre-set filters applied).

 

My brother made a lot of custom textures for this thing, lol.
