Which Doom map has the most enemies?

Recommended Posts

If we’re talking about any WAD in general, currently it’s Antaresian Reliquary MAP31, with 42690 enemies. To my knowledge.

If you want to talk about the official IWADs, MAP27: Mount Pain, of Final Doom’s TNT Evilution, stands at 332 enemies (including 4 unkillable lost souls). That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s hard, though.

I would consider that, but honestly, it just doesn't feel... Right. I don't know how to put it, but it feels like cheating. I am looking for real levels.

The original nuts.wad had 10617 monsters.

Sounds intresting! I will have to look into it.

Nuts is nothing compared to Okuplok. Oku has like twice as much. Thanks for the idea, though!

WOW.wad

The illusiopit is actually just a visual artifact produced by the millions of demons running around inside the pit. Until recently, it was thought that the illusiopit was a simple HOM effect, but this couldn't be further from the truth.

Btw, look up the "Slaughterfest" Megawads for Doom 2.
