Doom Collectors Edition

Yeah,um i bought doom CE and i can't get some .wads i downloaded to work. does it have something to do with that doom95 loader thing? Help would be mad appreciated. thanks.

Go to Doomworld main page, go to "source ports" on sidebar, download ZDoom or Doom Legacy or Doomsday. Throw away Doom95.

And make sure you uninstall doom95 and install the dos version (found in a subfolder on your cd) before you try to run a source port.

There is no DOS version in the DOOM Collectors Edition, but he can "explore" the CD and copy the IWADs and paste them into his HDD.

Uninstalling, deleting or removing Doom95 is by no means necessary to use a source engine. You can easily have both of them installed... just like when you have many source engines at the same time.

the Doom CE version is pretty stupid, why did't ID include any other things...
