I've finally found a nice midi creation tool :)

Recommended Posts

I like the main melody here, but the track sounds unfinished - there are only two instruments, the melodies are kinda simplistic, and it's very short.

Keep up the work if you enjoy it though - I'm sure you could make some great MIDIs!

So I got to make my own midi that isn't from OnlineSquencer, take a look if you want :)

FirstTemper.zip

I'm using Temper :D

Have you tried Sekaiju or Cakewalk?

Those are some i know middiers use for creating their midis.

Sekaiju is free, Cakewalk has a free version

I've tried them both, I didn't like either of them, sadly.

it was mostly just testing to make sure I know what I'm doing before I try to make a full-on midi :D

Edit: There are technically 3 instruments: Piano, Voice Ooh, and Voice Aah.

Ya Sekaiju is not the easiest to learn, but something I would recommend for people who have had quite a bit of MIDI experience (since its the most powerful out there IMO). SynthFont (the free version) is also quite powerful but also harder to learn.

Now onto ones which are easier to pick up... Aria Maestosa and MIDIEditor are decent choices too.

how's this one? A bit more complex :)

You have some good ideas here. If I were to give criticism though, the melody feels like it gets a bit "distracted" at some points (same thing happens in your previous track) - it needs more structure to it. Also, I think a drumbeat would improve the song.
