myk Posted March 2, 2003 I've never installed that google thingy, I just use a link to the google page. Or one can always click on Torn's title. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fredrik Posted March 2, 2003 Search engine toolbars are crap anyway. With Phoenix (and Mozilla), you can specify quicksearches so that typing g foo in the address field brings up a Google search for foo, or d bar brings up a dictionary.com search for the word bar or whatever. 0 Share this post Link to post

I dunno how the crap he got that thingy, but the Google search bar has done nothing but wonders for me. Not only do I not have to be on Google to search (though it is my start page so thats not a huge problem), but it also doesn't keep track of those 'embarassing' searches very long either. 0 Share this post Link to post
Fletcher` Posted March 2, 2003 Try clicking the 'search' button again. 0 Share this post Link to post
Sephiroth Posted March 4, 2003 i never install that dumbass stuff. uses space and ram, also may have spyware. people comment and ask "why do u only have 4 things in you system tray" I reply "cause it is all i need" my system boots up extra fast and games run very well. there is no need to have shit like AIM, kazza(or what ever), yahoo, and stuff like that to be in memory when it is not being used. 0 Share this post Link to post
