Skull Tag Updates

Returned-from-the-dead Mancubus II has updated the Skull Tag page with some news. Yes, that's right, the Skull Tag page has been updated; no need for panic, folks. No new release yet, but work on the sprites has risen from, well, zero, to steady progress. There's a super shotgunner guy in the works, along with a new weapon, the BFG10K, which is being worked on by Kikassassassin. Plus, not mentioned on the page, fellow resurrectee JJ is working on a Linux/Unix/BSD version of the Skull Tag server. There's still some networking issues to be worked out before a release, mainly server crashing problems on Windows 2000 and XP. For the latest info on Skull Tag development, join #skulltag on irc.freenode.net, and stay tuned to the Skull Tag forum.

Hmmm, very interesting!

Carnevil, why don't you talk to Scuba Steve about doing some sprite work for Skulltag? He's VERY good at making sprites, too!

Oh, and the BFG10k doesn't look doomish enough, hell it doesn't look doomish at all. :P

It looks like it would make a decent plasma gun though.

This weapon is great. All I did though was increaser the contrast and it looked even better.

Funny, that's actually the exact kind of touch up me and him talked about a few days ago :) I think he's working on doing the exact same thing.

It's just a first draft, it's getting some revisions. Don't worry, it'll look plenty doomish :)
