NekroChaparrO was featured in a communist metal compilation! Some really nice bands here, Mystras was probably my favorite.

I'll just go ahead and throw in this fairly well-curated Spotify playlist I like to play a lot, titled The Quantum Mechanical γ-Ray Powered Cat of Doom because why not.  Lots of stuff like Uncle Acid, Orchid, Hawkwind, Pentagram, King Gizzard etc. plus some other songs that I like and felt like could fit in with everything else well enough

Special attention to this song, and frankly this entire album, by The Cambodian Space Project.  Beautiful stuff, end to end.

Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder on the one track

Whilst I wasn't a huge Soundgarden or Pearl Jam fan back in the 90's, this track made me realise that that is exactly the sound I associate with the era - hit me like a tonne of bricks. Thanks for sharing it, valkiriforce!

That album went... a lot of different directions to where I thought it would, based on the playlist (which had me at Uncle Acid and Truckfighters tbh). Bit of surf, bit of lounge, bit of psych - an utter gem.

Listening to a commission release candidate that I've just today finished for a client. I've had it on continuous loop for over an hour to see if it passes the Annoyance Test.

It passes. :)
