so does anyone here listen to the pogues? hate the pogues? know who the pogues are? because they're my favorite band ever.

What kind of music is it?

I'll have to try out a few more albums before I decide. I've only heard one album (name escapes me) but I didn't care for it initially.

they're kind of irish punk rock played with traditional irish instruments, plus forays into many other styles. they're pretty hard to pin down easily. their singer, shane macgowan, ties with varg vikernes as the coolest motherfucker ever to live.

No, but I do listen to Flogging Molly. I've heard that the two are similar.
