Arsinikk Posted July 4, 2022 (edited) ENDOOM is the a text based screen that used to be shown when DOS Doom exited. When WADs were released for play in DOS, modders used to create ENDOOMs specific for their WADs. This is what the default DOOM II ENDOOM Looks like: Here's an example from Memento Mori II: I create my own ENDOOMs using @jval's ENDEDIT. It's an easy enough tool to use to make your own ENDOOMs! Also you can watch a great tutorial by @Doomkid for another way to make ENDOOMs: While not all source ports support showing the ENDOOM when closing the game, a great deal of them do. Since the option is usually off by default, many people have either forgot about or don't know about the ENDOOM screen, and they don't see the work that modders even today put into their ENDOOM. So I wanted to create a thread of appreciation towards ENDOOMs, so people can see the works of art that are often missed! Don't be afraid to post ENDOOMs that you didn't make! Spoiler Alert: It, and the other maps, were very much an amateur's work, and aren't very good or fun, unless you like having to squeeze through super-tight hallways and get assaulted in more ways than one by monsters require a lot more firepower to put down than... the three bullets and two shells I thought was enough to supply you in the entire level pack?
