IMO, despite all his faults and idiosyncracies, I don't think Gore is as lethally inept as Bush is. He's the lesser of two evils.

Though I must say that Gore would more likely than not make a better Pres than Bush.

Gore isn't all that great himself though. He is the lesser of two evils, and almost certainly better than Bush imo. Back when the election was going on Bush was looking a lot better in terms of policy and whatnot, but now I dunno.

I get the feeling Gore would have been too appeasing and every bit as backhanded in his attempts to garner voter support, anyway. But that doesn't matter because we wouldn't have gotten fucking John Ashcroft and Donald Rumsfeld in fucking office, and THOSE are the ones I'm really apprehensive of.
