Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

I kid you not, it's the official title. It looks to be in the jungle, and could be a remake of Metal Gear 1.

The poster and leaked E3 trailer are on GameSpot.

I don't like the MGS series since you practically have to go through 80% of scripted ingame movies and conversations. I'd rather play a game.

Btw, IMO I think the dialogue adds to the story. Every good game needs a storyline, I like complicated ones.

It might just be me, but personally I think Snake Eater sounds like the title of a bad 1970s porn flick. :)

Eh, I'm not sure, but I think you have two games mixed up. This one's for PS2, and the MGS remake is for GC. Yeah, I think that's it.

The preview movie they released seems to ignore the "Tactical Espionage" in favor of "Action". The jungle looks extremely cool, though.

Yeah, I would guess stealth would be tough in a jungle huh?

Maybe its just showing one of those sections of the game where its part of the story to be seen. For example, remember that damned camera on MGS
in that comm-tower.

I think you have the MGS remake for GC and the original Metal Gear (not solid, the one that was made in the 80's) mixed up. The original Metal Gear was set in a jungle location.

And I agree. Nice story to MGS, but if I had to classify it I'd say it's an Interactive Novel...

MGS has to be one of the best series of games, that's my opinion anyhow ^_^

I really hate MGS. I suck at it, it's too hard for my little brain.

That's what I've heard.

The only part of that game I saw was the ending. It was just really fucking weird and made no sense. It was full of illogical and meaningless plot twists and went on for roughly an hour.

It's only illogical and meaningless if you didn't play the game through to see the ending. It was a great game with a good storyline, better than HL's, IMO.
