Animated Avatar?

What is the best program to make a animated avatar? I want to make one, but i don't know which program to get.

I used PSP when I made some animated gifs, it's quite easy to use and it works well.

I use Microsoft GIF animator. It's free, it's microsoft, and it's made the "insertwackyfish" fish...what could be better?[/sarcasm]

You can't do animations with PSP, you have to use Animation Shop that comes with it.

Yes, I uses Animation Shop 3, works great, its easy, and has some neato effects and such too. :D

I make mine in Notepad or a Hex Editor of course, but I've heard that UnFREEz is quite easy to use (and free).

I use Flash.

Flash. ImageReady is also good.

Download UnFREEz. It's a free, extremely small and very easy to use program:

"UnFREEz is freeware that will take any number of images, saved as separate GIF files, and create a single animated GIF from those images. Just drag and drop some GIF files from Explorer, set the frame delay time, and hit Make Animated GIF."
