DeePsea Posted June 17, 2001 i got some error saying somthing like "14 at location 0" and i have no clue what it means.....what does it mean? You need to write down the complete error message. At a guess: An i/o error of 14 bytes at location 0. It will say whether you were reading or writing. What were you doing? 0 Share this post Link to post
DeePsea Posted June 18, 2001 Was this your level or an existing one with other stuff in it? 14 bytes is an unusual number to see at the beginning of a file. The first 12 bytes written are PWAD (4), #entries(4) and dirstart(4), so maybe that's not what it said? This type of error says there was a file problem. For example, you ran out of disk space. A file allocation table error - usually caused by shutting off your computer (or a crash) and not running scandisk when you reboot. In any event, make sure you don't have the level open in any other program, that includes the game. 0 Share this post Link to post
