Remember when Pong was fun?

Well, now it can be again, with 3D Pong, the way Pong was meant to be. There are two rules to the game:

1 - Don't miss
2 - See rule 1

The only quirk I've seen is that the computer gets 40 points each time it wins, while you get 20. However, it does make it more challenging. My record so far is 515.

Hey now, that Pong game is fun! My currect record so far is 295 points. Must play more!

Pretty damn addictive. I made sure to save a local copy. ;)

I'v never played it before and if its addictive then Im not gunna start.

Yeah, but some people like curveball better than this. But I kinda like this better, cause it's faster.

Just got 315 poang!

I've played that before. It starts out very slow and kind of boring, but it gets better by about the fourth level. I've only gotten to level nine once, but usually end up losing by about level seven. For some reason, it just doesn't have the same appeal as 3D Pong.

4 player Pong Sports for Atari is still cool. So is Warlords for it.

I haven't actually played Pong in the arcades. I played it on the Atari 2600 as part of Video Olympics. I also played some of the variants, especially Breakout (and my favorite out of those is Arkanoid).

Remember when it was really dificult?

heh, my friend is writing 3d pong (circular paddles moving on the walls of a sphere). i should bug him to finish it.

Curveball is the best Pong game. Made it to level 9 without losing a ball several times. Scored over 38,000 points once.

Hint: Make the game run as slowly as possible.

I've played this before. It's pretty fun. I don't remember what score I got though.

wow. I lost on lvl. Six and got 17,335 points. I guess I need to work on that ....

How come the computer gets 40 points for scoring and you only get 20?

I'm not sure. It's a minor annoyance, but I just think of it as a bigger challenge to actually beat the computer.

Usually the scores for me are like 130 to 760. =P

You'll win if you can get anything just over 400 points.

Ah those were the days. Qubert, pong, and many other atari classics spring to mind (forgotten the names of most of them though).
